It is possible to change control body in compliance with the provisions of the law, i.e. there must be no serious and/or Critical Non-Conformities in progress and one must also be in order from an economic point of view (balance of the CB invoice).

WHAT IS NECESSARY TO CHANGE THE CONTROL BODY?

The path is simple.
The company is only required to fill in a notification of variation due to change of the Supervisory Body ( CB ) on the SIAN portal or on the IT portals of the relevant Region (using a CAA).

Subsequently, the incoming CB will ask the outgoing CB for a release.

Within 15 days, if there are no impediments, the release of the release will allow the new body to continue the control and certification activity.

WHAT ABOUT THE ALREADY PRINTED LABELS?

Despite the change of inspection body , it is possible to use labels in stock.

In the event of a change in the control body, in fact, the operator can use the stocks of labels and other packaging materials already printed on the date of notification of the change and bearing the code of the outgoing Control Body for a period of 8 months starting from the date of the change (Mipaaf Note 73297 of 10/29/2015) and subject to agreement between the control bodies.

The two control bodies will have to collaborate in order to guarantee the correct use and disposal of the labels.
