The Organization for an International Network of Geographical Indications, born in 2003 in response to the increase in the phenomenon of abuse of Geographical Indications, today represents 350 producers' associations from 40 countries.
The objectives of oriGIn are the commitment to effective legal protection of GIs at national, regional and international levels; and promote GIs as a sustainable development tool for local producers and communities.
CSQA is a member of oriGIn.
