Bauer , a historic Trentino company, has been producing high quality cooking cubes, seasonings and granules for over 90 years. And it does so with the ambition of offering good and genuine products to the market such as ''homemade'' ones, thanks to a careful selection of the raw materials used and slow and meticulous processing , faithful to the Trentino artisan tradition .
However, all the goodness of these kitchen preparations also comes from an eye towards the nature that surrounds us. Making products that respect not only the consumer, but also the environment : this is the mission of Bauer, which has always been committed to extremely carefully evaluating the environmental impact of its production processes and services.
A concrete commitment that has led Bauer products to obtain PEF - Product Environmental Footprint certification .
Released by CSQA , it is a measure that indicates the environmental performance of a product or service throughout its life cycle, from the extraction of raw materials, to actual production, to use and final waste management.
A holistic approach which is essential for the purpose of assigning PEF certification , as some important environmental effects could occur upstream or downstream of the production chain, and therefore not be easily identifiable.
Following the checks carried out, the Bauer range has largely exceeded the scoring standards required to obtain the certificate in question, testimony to a tangible commitment to protecting the environment .
“ We are very proud to have achieved the requirements to obtain PEF certification – explains Giovanna Flor, Sole Director of Bauer – “ Bauer has always been a company that is friendly to the planet and nature: for us, eco-sustainability is not just a fleeting trend, but a philosophy of life to be embraced in our daily lives at 360°. “And here is the secret that lies behind the goodness of the Bauer products that reach the tables of Italians, good both for the consumer and for the environment ” – concludes Flor .
