Molini Pivetti and Yara Italia announce a collaboration to promote sustainability in the soft wheat supply chain, to improve the sustainability of soft wheat crops and strengthen the relationship with farmers, through advanced fertilization practices and innovative digital technologies.
With the integration of digital tools and fertilizers with a low environmental impact, companies will support farmers in the Campi Protetti Pivetti supply chain , optimizing the use of nutrients and reducing the ecological impact.
The collaboration stems from a shared commitment to decarbonisation and reducing the environmental footprint , bringing value to every level of the production chain and consolidating Molini Pivetti's approach, which combines tradition and innovation in a corporate strategy focused on sustainability.
Campi Protetti Pivetti is a 100% Emilian project , born in 2016 to guarantee quality and traceability along the entire supply chain. The grains are grown in the provinces of Bologna, Modena and Ferrara, in suitable areas, following a specification that favors advanced agronomic practices and solutions for responsible production.
This approach allows us to offer flours such as the Gran Riserva line, part of a “short supply chain” certified by CSQA , which has been “sustainable” since 2022, thanks to the LCA analysis that measures CO2 emissions for each kilogram of flour produced.
