The EU Strategy for Cybersecurity aimed to guarantee a global and open Internet, identifying the tools to protect the security of fundamental rights. Objective reinforced by the Cybersecurity Act, implemented in Italy with Legislative Decree 123/2022, and by Law 109/2021, which defined the Italian cybersecurity architecture and established the National Cybersecurity Agency (ACN). A constantly evolving context, in which accreditation establishes itself as a guarantee tool for institutions and businesses.
To these issues Accredia has dedicated the new Observatory "Cybersecurity and data protection: the role of accredited certification" , created with the Cybersecurity National Lab of the National Inter-University Consortium for Information Technology (CINI).
