According to the most recent ISTAT data, one in two children in Italy is the victim of bullying episodes and the age group most at risk is between 11 and 17 years of age. The acts of violence are repeated on a weekly basis in 9.1% of cases and females (20.9%) are more affected than males (18.8%).

A pervasive phenomenon on which CSQA Certificazioni continues its commitment by adhering to the new standard for prevention and contrast which was the subject of an important seminar entitled "The prevention and contrast of bullying in schools" which was held today in Vicenza at the headquarters of the Liceo GB Quadri. Together with CSQA, the most effective measures to combat bullying and cyberbullying were examined by some of the main players involved in social innovation in the area: National Association of Technological Addiction , National Association of Clinical Pedagogists , Juvenile Chamber of Padua .
CSQA - one of the first certification bodies to take an interest in this issue - highlighted the characteristics of the UNI/PdR 42:2018 reference practice , a voluntary standard, which presents itself as a veritable certifiable "anti-bullying regulation", born from the coordinated work of UNI and ACCREDIA, to which CSQA also collaborated.

It is a management system for the prevention of bullying risk in structures intended to welcome minors - schools of all levels and activities similar to school - essential for identifying risks and ensuring operational management capable of eliminating or reducing them. In fact, the application and any certification makes it possible to demonstrate the commitment and the measures put in place to prevent the risk.

“Today's seminar - declared Carlo Perini, President of CSQA - demonstrates once again how complex social challenges such as bullying are to be faced through qualified profiles in various fields: psycho-pedagogical, legal, management and training. The common goal is to provide schools with a tool for verifiable improvement in the prevention and management of these phenomena, in order to protect the well-being of the student”.
