Sustainability has always been part of the DNA of the Lunelli Group and Ferrari Trento : it derives from the strong bond with the territory and the desire to take care of it, from the attention to the people who work there and from the sense of responsibility towards a land that gives the grapes from which the Trento DOP bubbles are born.
Over the years, a constant commitment has been made on the environmental and social front. With the precise desire to protect the territory and the health of those who work in the countryside and in the cellar , the Protocol "The Ferrari Vineyard for healthy and sustainable mountain viticulture" was introduced , shared with the 700 farmers who supply the grapes; CSQA certified , aims to obtain grapes of the highest quality, while safeguarding the environment through the total ban on the use of herbicides and the limitation of chemical fertilizers in favor of traditional practices such as green manure and the use of natural fertilizers.
The Group's Trentino vineyards, as well as the Lunelli estates in Umbria and Tuscany, have also been certified "Biodiversity Friend" since 2015 , confirming the attention to biodiversity.
