The fourth edition of Vino e Lavoro took place on Friday 15 September 2023, the permanent table promoted by Equalitas and Luci sul Lavoro for a collective discussion on the topic of employment, as a social right and main driver of sustainable development.
On the occasion of the conference, moderated by Nerina Di Nunzio (marketing and communications expert and university professor), training professionals, companies, associations and consortia from the world of wine gathered in the magnificent spaces of the Fortezza di Montepulciano, in Via di S. Donato, to better orient active labor policies, in order to outline a shared path that favors the growth of the Italian wine sector.

Equalitas is the company that owns the Standard originating from a project for the certification of sustainability in the wine sector whose launch, which took place in 2015, represented the point of arrival with respect to years of experiences and comparisons with the academic, research and business world , through various "containers", the most representative and aggregating of which was the Forum for the Sustainability of Wine , created to "censure" what exists regarding sustainability in the wine sector and to catalyze and contaminate everyone's requests the stakeholders.
The "founders" of the initiative are also the company's current partners: Federdoc (the Confederation of Consortia for the protection of the DOC of Italian wine), CSQA Certifications and Valoritalia (two of the leading bodies for certification in the wine sector) and the Gambero Foundation Red. The Equalitas project and the related Standard, including the three "pillars" of sustainability, environmental, economic and ethical/social, are aimed at the entire wine supply chain, whether they are farmers/winemakers, processors, bottlers or gather all these identities in one, up to the protection consortia.
The first objective of Equalitas is the sharing at an Italian level of a unique approach to sustainability and the diffusion of a collective guarantee brand for the consumer , in order to promote the same harmonization in agreement with all producer and consumer markets at an international level.
