Oleificio Zucchi responded to the difficult situation by focusing on coherence and adherence to its values. “We have invested in digitalization through the Filiera 4.0 project, launched in 2016, which enhances the traceability of the origin of the oil and environmental, social and economic sustainability.
This project allowed us to obtain, in 2017, the first sustainability certification for the Extra Virgin Olive Oil supply chain guaranteed by CSQA .
Our attention to traceability is also reflected in the labelling of our products and in the adoption of QR codes that allow consumers to discover the origin of the blend, the cultivars and the flavour profiles that compose it, as well as having precise indications regarding the sustainability indicators" states the CEO Alessia Zucchi .
