The Nurture Module is a private add-on to the GlobalG.AP IFA standard for manufacturers supplying the Tesco retailer.
It focuses on the management of the list of plant protection products (PPPL) for the fruit, vegetable/floral and ornamental product categories.
Tesco has published version 12 of the NURTURE add-on which will become mandatory from 1 January 2024 for IFA v6 Smart combined audits , and for IFA v6 GFS once IFA v6 GFS is recognized by GFSI.
The Nurture v12 module can be combined with IFA v6 for fruit and vegetables (FV) within Plants.
The GLOBALG.AP IFA v5.4-1-GFS Standard will continue to be combined with Nurture Module v11.4 after January 1, 2024, until IFA v6 GFS becomes mandatory.

Manufacturer level (P&C) requirements remain the same as Nurture Module v11.4.

At the Quality Management System (QMS) level , the requirements applicable to centralized handling/storage sites where "unfinished" products are handled (according to the Nurture definition) have been added .
IMPORTANT NOTE: internal audits in companies that will face the first certification audit or a renewal after 12/31/2023 must be conducted by applying the checklist in the new version.
