In recent years, interest in environmental protection has grown considerably and the issue of sustainability has animated the public debate, involving consumers, businesses, institutions and other stakeholders. In the current economic context, energy efficiency can play a crucial role for economic growth and environmental sustainability, also in light of the effectiveness in terms of cost-benefits of the actions associated with it and of the know-how held by companies operating in Italy in this sector.
For this reason, CSQA Certificazioni and Federalimentare organized three conferences on the topic of energy efficiency as a driver of sustainability in the food industry, addressing it from three points of view: technology, management and communication models.
The first will take place on the occasion of CIBUS at the Parma Fair on 9 May in the Sala del Consiglio (from 10.00 to 13.30). The conference will be attended by Eng. Giovanni Bartucci, one of the leading Italian experts in the field of energy & carbon management, and prof. Alessandro Persona, internationally renowned expert in logistics as well as Professor of Logistics and Industrial Plants at the University of Padua.
Speeches by representatives of the most important companies that produce energy saving technologies will follow: Honeywell, Leroy Somer, EST.
The cycle of conferences will continue in Naples on 18 May (at the headquarters of Confindustria Campania) and in Verona on 19 June (at the headquarters of Confindustria Verona).
