The Sustainable Development Foundation is committed to promoting the Green Economy and disseminating know-how and best practices together with a greater involvement of institutions and public administrations in the sector. The Foundation draws up and presents technical analyses, regulatory studies and insights into the sector, and also provides its technical support to the National Council of the Green Economy, made up of 66 business organizations, for the organization of the States General of the Green Economy.
The Observatory on the Green Economy of the IEFE – Bocconi University constitutes a dynamic research platform that interprets trends in the sector, creating a bridge between the academic world and businesses. There are two thematic discussion tables: the first focuses on the strategies and tools available to management to seize the opportunities of the Green Economy; while the second focuses on the evolution of policies in support of sustainable development.
“ Our membership of the Sustainable Development Foundation, chaired by Edo Ronchi – says Pietro Bonato, General Manager of CSQA Certificazioni – is a great opportunity for us, as is our membership of the IEFE Observatory on the Green Economy, coordinated by Edoardo Croci. In fact, our business is increasingly committed to enhancing the sustainable practices adopted by companies with the targeted identification of green-oriented standards and certifications and specific initiatives, such as that of CO 2 RESA - Agri-food Sector Emission Register, which focus attention on the Carbon Footprint and LCA " .
“ Being part of these two important Italian companies - declares the President of CSQA Certificazioni, Luigino Draws - is an extraordinary recognition of what has been done in recent years. The valorisation of sustainability has, in fact, conquered a prominent place in the Italian and international market, which we preside over with our offices in Italy and around the world. We are therefore proud of our membership of the two organizations and of contributing our know-how to the development of their activities, thus meeting the challenges of the Green Economy".
“ We are very pleased with the participation of the CSQA certification body in our Foundation – says Raimondo Orsini, Director of the Sustainable Development Foundation – as, in the coming years, the most important challenge of Italian companies will be played on the transition from the Brown Economy to the Green Economy. In this crucial step, certification, the creation of standards and the control of third parties can provide fundamental assistance to the growth of the Green Economy on the international scene ".
