Gender equality, how to apply UNI/PdR 125

Almost a year has passed since the publication of the reference practice UNI/PdR 125:2022 on the management system for gender equality .

For a correct application of the document, in recent months UNI and ACCREDIA have developed a first document containing FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions) which provide interpretations on its key points.

The FAQs, grouped according to the topics and the structure of the practice itself, have now been updated , in particular in the part relating to the retrieval of ISTAT data respectively on:
  • indicators relating to opportunities for growth and inclusion of women in the company;
  • the official annual update of the benchmark data referred to in Appendix B.
The FAQs respond on the one hand to the needs for a better application of the UNI/PdR 125 by all organizations and on the other guarantee a uniform and homogeneous approach by the conformity assessment bodies which will certify, under accreditation, based on the UNI/PdR 125.

NOTICE IN LOMBARDY

The practice arouses growing interest, thanks also to the specific incentives of a fiscal nature and in the field of public procurement , to which are added tenders such as that of the Lombardy Region , which in recent weeks has launched a project in support of Lombard companies dedicated precisely to the certification of gender equality, for a value of 10 million euros .

The aim is to support micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in Lombardy along the path aimed at obtaining gender equality certification with the provision of contributions for specialist consultancy services aimed at setting up a management system for gender equality and to cover the costs incurred by enterprises to obtain certification.

The tender will remain open until the funding is exhausted and in any case no later than 17:00 on 13 December 2024 . (Source: https://uni.com /)
