
Qualivita celebrates 25 years of supporting Italian Geographical Indications and Protection Consortia and is celebrating by organizing the Qualivita Festival in Siena, dedicated to “The taste of culture and the culture of taste”. The festival will offer, from February to May 2025, a series of meetings open to the public with important figures in culture and science. The inaugural event, on February 7, will feature philosopher Umberto Galimberti, followed by personalities such as economist Stefano Bartolini, journalist Patrizio Roversi, historian Duccio Balestracci, chef Massimo Bottura, minister Francesco Lollobrigida, manager Luigi Lovaglio and director of Treccani Massimo Bray. The cycle will conclude on May 13 with psychoanalyst Massimo Recalcati.

Today the Foundation intends to continue its journey with the Qualivita 2030 project. Supported by prestigious founding members – Istituto Poligrafico e Zecca dello Stato, Origin Italia , CSQA and RINA Agrifood – the initiative aims to enhance scientific dissemination and promote synergies between academic communities, production chains, Protection Consortia and international institutions such as the FAO. The objective is to address the great contemporary challenges of the agri-food sector in a structured way, contributing to its sustainable development.
