In three and a half years of work, Puglia dell'olio, with the participation of all its territories , has developed a method of analysis, certification and promotion of its extra virgin olive oil thanks to "Certo" , financed by the Development Program Rural (PSR) 2014-2020 Puglia, Measure 16 “Cooperation”, Submeasure 16.2 “Support for pilot projects and the development of new products, practices, processes and technologies”. In Bitonto the results of the last 40 months of work, research, analysis and mapping in the context of "Certo" were illustrated by managers, experts, professors and technicians of the large project partnership which, in addition to the lead partner, namely the CIA Italian Farmers of Puglia , has brought together APO-Association of Olive Producers of Foggia , University of Salento , Mediterranean Agronomic Institute Ciheam Bari , Legacoop Puglia , Op Oliveti Terra di Bari , APOL Association of Olive Producers Lecce , Cooperative Society of Olive Producers Bitonto , CSQA Certifications and Terra di Olivi Cooperative Oil Mill . The works were opened by greetings from Benedetto Fracchiolla , president of Finoliva; Gennaro Sicolo , president of CIA Agricoltori Italiani di Puglia; and Carmelo Rollo , president of Legacoop Puglia.
