The cooperative's reference system is divided into several levels: the CO&SO Consortium as a system of cooperatives at the Florentine level and the CGM Consortium – Welfare Italia as a network of consortia at the national level.
The cooperative constantly carries out important networking work and acts in conjunction with various entities operating in the social sector: non-profit associations, public administrations, social services, local health companies, and local businesses.
Convoi is aware of how important it is to work in concert with the local community . For this reason, the services and projects aim at involvement and close collaboration with the various realities of the territories in which they operate.
It is currently present with its activities in the Metropolitan areas of Florence, Prato, Pistoia, in the provinces of Livorno, Massa Carrara and in the Mugello area.
The three pillars on which the cooperative is committed:
- Education
- Social Inclusion
- Work and business services

“The achievement of the certification for the Convoi Cooperative represents only the first step in a path of implementation of gender equality policies, with a view to improving and promoting gender equality – states Maurizio Rossi, president of the Convoi Cooperative. The certification, in fact, has the objective of accompanying and incentivizing the organization to adopt policies suitable for reducing the gender gap with the consequent benefits for the well-being of the staff, in addition to the reputational and ethical impacts."
The certification was issued by CSQA after an audit process that evaluated the Convoi Cooperative in terms of principles and values transmitted and actions implemented, monitored and verified according to the criteria defined by the reference practice.
“The qualitative and quantitative indicators relating to the six predefined areas - concludes Massimiliano Oro of CSQA - were measured and compared to evaluate the real improvement path implemented by the cooperative to pursue the continuous development of gender equality policies in an inclusive and non-discriminatory environment.
With more than 400 employees, the Convoi cooperative is a point of reference in the Third Sector of Florence. Gender equality is a cultural model that social cooperatives believe in and implement in their generative policies”.
