It is a Swiss allergen management protocol for products and services defined by Service Allergie Suisse SA, an independent agency specializing in the allergy sector and registered with the Swiss Federal Institute for Intellectual Property.

The protocol applies to products and services that are relevant for the management of allergies: food, cosmetics and cleaning products, textiles, catering, pharmaceuticals, pet food, etc.
The declarations “gluten-free”, “lactose-free”, “egg-free”, “wheat-free”, “nut-free”, “soy-free”, “fish-free”, etc… can be managed under this umbrella brand.

The brand is widespread in Switzerland and is required by the Swiss large-scale retail trade (e.g. Migross) for its own branded products.
