WHAT IS THAT

The DTP 114 standard was born from CONFIDA, the organization that represents companies in the vending sector, and created thanks to the working group of the Association made up of representatives of the entire vending chain (manufacturers of vending machines, coffee roasters, management companies).

It applies to roasted coffee beans intended for vending and defines functional quality parameters higher than those already defined by law.

The certification is applicable to all companies that produce roasted coffee beans for vending, whether or not associated with Confida, and is issued exclusively by CSQA .

KEY POINTS

The standard defines the maximum limits allowed as regards:
  • the oxygen and moisture content (after roasting, cooling and packaging treatment)
  • the presence of breaks
  • the size of the grain
  • the absence of foreign bodies
Therefore, these are parameters that can be mainly associated with the functional quality of the roasted coffee intended for use in the vending market.

ADVANTAGES

The certification can be used for customers to demonstrate the functional quality of the coffee produced for the vending sector.

The product quality parameters listed in the specification are the same established by the Guidelines for the tender specifications in the Vending sector .
