WHAT IS THAT
The standard (DTS 017) " CERTIFICATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEANING AND SANITATION SERVICES " deals with the issue of how to carry out cleaning and sanitization operations in community environments, such as companies, schools, hotels, restaurants, gyms and in general of any environment in which people find themselves using a service as customers, or in which they find themselves working. This standard is proposed as a guideline in the effective implementation of a cleaning and sanitization program (PPS) with an established frequency and verification of its effectiveness by carrying out swabs.
CSQA offers the certification service with respect to the standard .
KEY POINTS
The standard focuses on the issues of cleaning (removal of visible dirt) and sanitization (reduction of germs, bacteria and viruses) with the adoption of specific products and with standardized methods in order to ensure repeatable and verified efficacy by carrying out swabs.ADVANTAGES
- For cleaning companies that offer and carry out these services, the minimum requirements to carry out a cleaning process and an environmental sanitization process both in ways that are effective and repeatable, with particular care and attention to reducing the environmental impact of these operations and making them sustainable from this point of view
- For companies and/or accommodation facilities and/or public or private entities that do not carry out cleaning operations as a primary activity, this standard establishes the minimum requirements for cleaning and sanitizing services in community environments, in such a way that these operations are carried out effectively and repeatably
- For users of community facilities as defined in the previous point, the added value lies in the use of the physical spaces with respect to the service offered under conditions of guarantee that cleaning and sanitization have been carried out effectively and that these operations are repeated over time with a defined frequency
