ASS.O.CERT.BIO is the national association that brings together the main Italian organic certification bodies.

ASS.O.CERT.BIO has among its purposes to encourage the development of the culture of certification and accreditation, as a service carried out in the public interest so that users and consumers can grow trust in the quality and safety of certified goods and services circulating in an increasingly broad and general market.

It intends to contribute and contribute to the technical, scientific, cultural, social and ethical enhancement and promotion of all processes connected to agriculture and organic production and to the origin and species certifications of all public and private offices, and towards economic, political, social and cultural institutions and organisations, also to help improve, simplify and make the control and certification system more efficient.
