Exactly 2 years after the opening of a new office in Sant'Onofrio (VV) , the CSQA structure meets in Calabria to take stock of the situation of organic certifications in Southern Italy.

On the Organic front , as a Control Body authorized by MIPAAF with code IT-BIO-021, CSQA deals with the development of certifications relating to Organic Agriculture, understood both as primary production and as transformation of products, as well as non-food products that use organic agricultural ingredients and production techniques that follow the principles of organic agriculture.

"Two years after the start of the activities of the CSQA office in Sant'Onofrio ", declares Maurizio Agostino , Manager of the Calabrian office , "we can undoubtedly state that we have achieved very important results, beyond all rosy forecasts.

The office coordinates the activities of 22 technicians and professionals in charge of agri-food control and certification.
There are over 1,200 farms and food processing companies controlled .

Control and certification activities have been started on three denominations of origin , of strategic importance for southern Italy.
In addition, important activities have been launched in terms of training of technical managers and research and innovation.
In short, a lot of work done in such a short time and still a lot to work for the future, to affirm a significant presence in the area of a certification body close to companies that are interested in undertaking experiences of environmental sustainability, valorisation of origins and social responsibility."
