Some structures of the S. Croce e Carle Hospital in Cuneo have recently been subjected to verification by CSQA and have obtained the Certification of the "Diagnostic, clinical assistance and support process" of the following Structures: Anatomy and Pathological Histology, Hematology, Hospital Pharmacy, Immunohaematology and Transfusion Medicine, Nuclear Medicine.
On Wednesday 12 July, the ceremony for the delivery of the certificates was held in the reception hall of the S. Croce hospital.
The purpose of this certification is to give assurance through the impartial and independent attestation that the structures involved operate in compliance with the requirements of the UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 standard.
“Basically – explains Commissioner Livio Tranchida – the renewal of the certification is a moment of discussion and improvement. In fact, passing the surveillance audit demonstrates that the organization is maintaining its quality management system in line with the standards set out in the standard .
Being certified means putting patients' needs at the center of attention, committing to continuously improve the quality of services and constantly monitor the results achieved, applying an anomaly detection system for their timely solution and having risk assessment tools in all phases of activity, in the interest of patients and other parties involved.
This recognition confirms the preparation of the personnel and the attention to the constant improvement of the processes.

The audit days demonstrated the ongoing commitment to quality care and patient safety and highlighted that all the organizational processes being audited are highly supervised and oriented towards constant improvement.
During the verification conducted by CSQA, only a few suggestions were reported, as a contribution to the continuous growth of the organization as a whole, to further improve the evolution of the Quality System.
