The renewal of the ISO 9001 Quality certification seals the service of hospitality, educational accompaniment, spiritual, educational and recreational activities for off-site university students in archiepiscopal colleges.
The LA VINCENZIANA Foundation is part of the activities of the Diocese of Milan , established in May 1934 as an ecclesial body under the care of Cardinal Schuster as "an essential purpose of religious assistance to young workers who have no family in Milan". In the 1970s, the type of user changed, addressing off-site students. Great impetus is given by Cardinal Martini who renews the will of the diocese and its university pastoral care.
Today the Foundation manages the San Paolo University College, the San Filippo Neri College and the Bertoni University House , all in Milan, near important university buildings. Each college hosts about 100 university students, aged 18 to 25 of both sexes.
The Foundation, a non-profit organization, is administered by a Board of Directors appointed by the archbishop, with registered office in Piazza Fontana in Milan. The director general coordinates the work of each individual college director, who is responsible for the structure and its hospitality.
The colleges want to promote the hospitality and educational accompaniment of off-site university students.
The experience of life in the College, with respect for the different sensitivities and personal stories, is an area of human and Christian maturation, of in-depth cultural and civil formation as well as growth in responsibility.
The training project outlines the guidelines that guide the work in the Colleges and is aimed at students, educators (directors, spiritual assistants, tutors) and collaborators, each for their own responsibilities and skills.
The purposes follow the following parameters :
- Personal responsibility
- relational vitality
- The cultural liveliness
- The spiritual search
The objective validation by a third-party body through the international ISO 9001 certification, carried out by CSQA, has established a " responsible and effective management " during the audits conducted.
