The new UNI brochure “Standard & Circular Economy” answers this and many other questions, a complete document to understand from A to Z everything you need to know to apply the principles of circularity in your company.
In detail, the brochure focuses on both national standards, namely UNI/TS 11820:2022 and UNI/TR 11821:2023 , and the seven international ISO standards that will be published from 2024.
The brochure also refers to the new FAQ page on UNI/TS 11820:2022 which were collected following the application of the document in various situations.
The main innovations that the document anticipates concern the possibility of verifying and validating the circularity assertion (or claim), according to UNI/TS 11820, through an accredited certification body, as per the Accredia Circular , and the birth of the CEN European Committee /TC 473 “Circular Economy” which will develop regulatory documents on the circular economy at European level and which may receive standardization requests from the European Commission.
