GLOBALG.AP add-on, new versions

GLOBALG.AP has released new versions of 4 add-ons with the main aim of making them compatible with the new GLOBALG.AP IT tools which must be used by the certification bodies for conducting the checks and subsequent issuing of the certificate.

These new versions will be mandatory for all initial and renewal audits performed after 12/31/2023 in combination with the GLOBALG.AP IFA v6 smart FV (fruits and vegetables) and FO (flowers and ornamentals) Standard.

The PPM (propagation material) and CC (extensive crops) product categories will instead only be able to apply version 5.2 of the IFA Standard with the applicable versions of the add-ons.

PLUS V2

It was created exclusively to align the add-on with version 6 of the GLOBALG.AP IFA standard, without changes to the requirements.

SPRING v2

Main changes to the specifications of the general regulation:

• Alignment of the level of compliance with the IFA (e.g. critical points have been changed to increased requirements).
• Alignment of scoring system to IFA (e.g. Yes/No compliance, instead of 0;1, 2;3).
• Alignment of audit results with the IFA (e.g. elimination of the Improvement Needed or Critical status and their respective consequences).

The changes to the Control Points simply involved the elimination of the requirements already foreseen by the GLOBALG.AP Standard. IFA, numbering change, small clarifications.

BIODIVERSITY v1.1

The changes concern:

• alignment with the new GLOBALG.AP IT tools
• The level of compliance aligned with that of IFA (critical points have been changed to "Major musts").
• The scoring system aligns with the IFA scoring system (compliance: yes or no, instead of 0,1,2,3).
• Applicability of Parallel Ownership (PO) for Multisite Options 2 and Options 1 with QMS.
