IFS has updated the IFS Broker standard by presenting version 3.2.
IFS Broker is the standard for verifying service compliance of brokers, sales representatives, traders and importers of food, home and personal care products or packaging materials.
What's new in the new version:
IFS star status : Star status has been introduced, to signal that the audit has not been announced . Customers and other interested parties can thus quickly recognize how the audit was performed.
The scoring system : The new IFS scoring system will also apply to IFS Broker 3.2. The B score is once again a deviation, requiring action. The action plan specifies what needs to be done to correct the deviation.
Since many IFS audits are combined with other IFS standards, we have aligned version 3.2 with the other IFS standards , in particular IFS Food 8 and IFS Logistics 3. The revisions significantly facilitate the performance of combined IFS audits.
Audits relating to this new version will become mandatory starting from 1 July 2024.
The standard is currently only available in English.
