IFS has published a comparison document between version 2.3 and the new version 3 of IFS Logistics.
The comparison document lists the changes for each requirement , offering a quick and easy overview to support the preparation of the first audit according to version 3.
IFS launched version 3 of IFS Logistics in early December 2023.
The updated version has fewer requirements and an optimized protocol, structure and scoring system. Further updates include the scoring system, extensions and clarifications in scope, and the introduction of star status to indicate an unannounced audit.
These updates facilitate efficient use of the standard for all parties involved.
The IFS Logistics standard evaluates the quality and safety of logistics activities and includes transportation, warehousing, distribution, loading and unloading and more. It supports logistics companies in meeting customers' growing needs for transparency and traceability.
