IFS has published two new regulatory documents for version 3 of the IFS Logistics standard.
These documents complement the standard and are essential for certified companies, auditors, certification bodies and other interested parties.
IFS Logistics Doctrine 3
The doctrine provides answers to the most frequently asked technical questions and clarifies specific requirements.
Among other topics, it specifies:

Which version of IFS Logistics to apply in particular situations;

The obligation for logistics companies to organize transport without their own trucks;

The 50% on-site duration rule for companies arranging transportation/warehousing;

The case of suspension or revocation of the accreditation of a certification body;

The obligation to use interpreters and other professional services;

Auditor approval and auditor conversion training requirements;

The types of audits not accepted such as approval audits, presence audits and for extensions of the auditor's scope;

The extraordinary information that certification bodies must provide to the IFS.
IFS Logistics Multi-site guideline
IFS has updated this guideline to align with version 3 of the IFS Logistics standard and accreditation requirements (IAF MD1:2023).
Applies only to multi-site, multi-site businesses that meet specific criteria related to the number of sites, activities and other parameters.
The guideline explains the requirements that these companies must meet for a multi-site certification.
