A product at high risk of counterfeiting
Then there is another pitfall, more subtle but no less dangerous, with which the Nocciola di Giffoni Igp has to deal with on a daily basis: counterfeiting. “Today – confirms De Feo – there is great confusion between branded and non-branded products. Among other things, just recently we changed the certifying body, which today is CSQA. Many artisans and merchants bear the PGI mark without having the title .
