The " Green Communities " projects financed by the Pnrr for 3 million 630 thousand euros have all been approved by the outgoing board of the Barzio mountain community. After having signed the agreement between the institution, recipient of the funds, and the municipalities of Primaluna and Casargo , the gastronomic tourism project was approved, linked to chestnuts and by-products, to create a chestnut storage and processing plant with the recovery of a chestnut forest in the Primaluna area, entrusted to the agronomist Niccolò Mapelli of Milan.

Finally, the PEFC (Program for the endorsement of forest certification schemes ) certification service for the sustainability of the forest-wood-energy chain and the ecosystem services of the forest heritage which concerns the municipalities of Bellano, Casargo, Cassina, Dervio, Dorio, Esino, Introbio, Margno, Moggio, Morterone, Pagnona, Premana, Primaluna, Sueglio and Valvarrone for a cost of 16,068 euros.
