UNI publishes the free White Paper “Application guidelines for the innovative aspects of UNI EN ISO 45001:2023” which aims to support the correct application of the standard on Management Systems for Health and Safety at Work, particularly in its most innovative aspects.
To date, the situation in our country is still unclear: the number of certified sites , despite a progressive growth in recent years, currently stands at just a few tens of thousands.
A certainly significant number, but still rather small when compared to the number of companies present in our country, which are in the order of around 4 million.
This White Paper provides qualified guidelines to easily apply UNI EN ISO 45001 through functional methodological solutions for organizations operating in the Italian system.
The document is composed of several parts: a general framework , dedicated to “risk based thinking”, plus some specific parts dedicated to the most delicate or complex standard points, such as the context of the organization (point 4 of UNI EN ISO 45001:2023), roles, responsibilities and authorities in the organization (point 5.3), worker consultation and participation (point 5.4), documented information (point 7.5), performance evaluation (point 9) and others.
