GLOBALG.AP Plus

What is it?

The GLOBALG.AP Plus add-on is an additional module developed by GLOBALG.AP and McDonald's to improve sustainability and social responsibility in agricultural practices , ensuring high standards are met in various aspects of production.

This add-on module is available for individual producers and producer groups who wish to extend their GLOBALG.AP IFA certification by adopting requirements related to sustainability and social responsibility.

Key points

The PLUS add-on module, divided into 9 main chapters, assigns specific quality system requirements (expressed as McDonald's expectations) for each of the figures involved in the McDonald's supply chain .

The PLUS add-on can be applied to all products in the Fruit and Vegetables category.

The goals of this add-on are:

• Establish standardized requirements : Establish uniform criteria for all growers supplying fresh produce to McDonald's.
• Supplier Accountability : Ensure all growers meet these standards, as McDonald's does not maintain direct relationships with individual growers.
• Focus on safety and quality : focus on the critical components of the fresh produce supply chain that impact the safety and quality of the product served to the customer, specifically intervening in the reduction of chemical (pesticides and allergenic contamination) and microbiological (pathogens and microbial contamination) risks.
• Objective Measurement : Create an objective measurement for product management system requirements and product feature expectations.

Certification process

• Filling out the questionnaire and sending the data to CSQA Certificazioni
• Issuance by CSQA Certifications of the offer for certification and signing of the same
• Audit planning and conduct (joint audit with GLOBALG.AP IFA)
• Management of non-conformities, if necessary
• Release of certificate valid for one year

REQUEST FOR CERTIFICATION AND/OR RENEWAL

The following questionnaire must be completed and sent by e-mail to csqa@csqa.it for:

• the request for the first GLOBALG.A.P. certification
• the request for annual renewal of the certificate

GLOBALG.A.P. FEE

GLOBALG.A.P. has published the new fee " GLOBALG.A.P. Fee Table ":

• "GLOBALG.A.P. Fee Table" for all Countries
• "GLOBALG.A.P. Fee Table" for North America (USA and Canada)

The fee defines the taxes that GLOBALG.A.P. , through CSQA, applies to companies requesting certification.
