CSQA Certificazioni opens a new office in Calabria which becomes the reference point in southern Italy for BIO certifications , as well as a contact person for voluntary certifications in Calabria.
This strategic choice is made possible thanks to the agreement with IGEA Srl, with which a strategic and organizational partnership has been signed.
For over twenty years Igea Srl has been an important community of professionals operating in the Calabria region and in all regions of Southern Italy, committed to the development and affirmation of organic and sustainable agriculture, through the certification of productions. A point of reference at the service of organic agri-food and food production inspired by the principles of typicality, quality, sustainability and fairness. The company involves 22 technical managers and specialists in the agri-food, forestry and environmental sectors. In recent years it has provided guidance, control and certification services for thousands of organic agri-food companies and typical products.
CSQA is a leading certification body in the agri-food sector which carries out certification, assessment and training activities, active in the sectors of Agri-food and Packaging, Consumer Goods, Catering, Technical and Professional Services, Information Technology, Biological, Sustainability, Forestry, Wood & Paper, Personal Services and Public Administration. CSQA is the main Certification Body in Italy in the agricultural and food sector with over 65 controlled PDO, PGI, TSG products and tens of thousands of companies certified voluntarily.
On the Organic front , as a Control Body authorized by MIPAAF with code IT-BIO-021, it deals with the development of certifications relating to Organic Agriculture, understood both as primary production and as transformation of products, as well as non-food products that use organic agricultural ingredients and production techniques that follow the principles of organic agriculture.
From 1 January 2021 Igea is the operational headquarters of CSQA in Calabria and a reference point for all of Southern Italy for organic certifications according to the REG. (EC) 834/07, IFOAM, Naturland, Biosuisse, Natrue, KRAV, Bioecocosmesi, NOP, JAS and Bioeco Detergence.
