IFS has updated the Guideline for Food and Product Defense by adapting it to the current version 7 of IFS Food, with the addition of product defense requirements and IT security aspects.
The goal is to help IFS Food certified suppliers worldwide understand the scope of food and product defense requirements and gain an understanding of implementation practices and considerations.
The topical aspect of cyber security is included to raise awareness of the fact that cyber incidents cause not only financial damage, but also threaten food and product safety.
