The Santa Lucia Cooperative in Asola has obtained the UNI/PdR 125:2022 Certification for Gender Equality , becoming one of the nine Mantua companies certified in this area. The certification, issued by the CSQA body after a consultancy process with the Gino Mattarelli Consortium, recognizes the cooperative's commitment to guaranteeing equal rights, treatment and opportunities to all employees, regardless of gender.
“What interests us now is to create culture on the theme of equality, that is, to stimulate reflection on the fact that there are different possible points of view and all worthy of consideration and respect,” declared Arianna Spazzini , President of Santa Lucia.
“Being a woman, in a managerial position, still involves having to assume, against one’s will, attitudes and behaviors imposed by common thinking. And this is wrong.” The President sees this certification not as a goal, but as a stage in the journey .
The path to certification has proven to be natural for a cooperative that has among its founding values sustainable growth, the responsibility to combat all forms of violence and hospitality as a way to overcome any discrimination.
