The House of Y'shua in Castrovillari is a reception community for minors that hosts children and young people of different ages and nationalities from conditions of psycho-social distress, offering them hope, listening, sharing and free love.
The House of Y'shua is made up of a female wing and a male wing, connected through a glass corridor, which runs through the houses up to the Studio House , conceived taking into account the difficulties that these kids often have in maintaining high concentration in closed places, showing themselves more available to engage in open spaces.
Thanks to the exceptional commitment of those who spontaneously work in the community and the expert guidance of Mariolina Luccisano, the House of Y'shua becomes a new and true beacon of social reference for the territory, through collaboration with bodies and authorities, including judicial ones, which confirm credibility.
The UNI EN ISO 9001 Certification has defined the following field of application: “Design and provision of residential socio-educational-welfare services for minors in disadvantaged conditions through the management of educational communities for minors. (The House of Y'Shua)”.
The UNI EN ISO 9001 certification represents today in Calabria one of the mandatory requirements provided for by RR n. 22/2019 - "Procedures for authorisation, accreditation and supervision of residential and semi-residential socio-welfare facilities, as well as home, local and local services" - Art. 20 - Requirements for accreditation - with requirement n) quality certification issued by an authorized body.
Institutional accreditation is an important and indispensable tool for establishing economic relationships with the public administration aimed at providing services.
The structures that can request it are those:
socio-welfare: residential or day care facility intended for people who need protection and appropriate interventions of various kinds (educational, welfare), which cannot be assisted at home;
semi-residential cycle: has the aim of promoting the recovery or maintenance of the patient's residual psychophysical capabilities, in order to allow them to remain at home and, at the same time, offering important support to the family unit;
with a residential cycle: it is aimed at self-sufficient or partially non-self-sufficient citizens and is configured in residential structures with different levels of specialisation. The residential facility offers rehabilitation and hotel assistance services, provided based on the specific nature of the care need identified for the user.
This process aims to define quality requirements and monitoring and evaluation criteria for the improvement of socio-welfare interventions and services, as well as guaranteeing citizens a uniform quality of services through inclusion in the regional register.
