Consolida has obtained the Gender Equality Certification from CSQA .
Consolida is the consortium of social cooperatives , the largest network of organizations in Trentino that address the community by offering educational and recreational services, care and assistance and creating job opportunities for the weak or disadvantaged.
The consortium includes 50 social cooperatives : 30 type A cooperatives that offer social assistance and educational services, 15 type B cooperatives that deal with the job placement of disadvantaged people, 3 mixed cooperatives and 2 cooperative development bodies (Promocoop and Cooperfidi).
“The reasons that led us to undertake this path – says President Francesca Gennai – are many: first of all there was the desire to equip ourselves with tools to make concrete (that is, operational in everyday life and constantly monitored) the principle of equal opportunities that we already shared, while at the same time enhancing practices already in place, such as those related to work-life balance, which otherwise risked being taken for granted.

Secondly, UNI PdR 125 is part of a broader assumption of responsibility - also in this case concretely implemented - that the consortium has assumed on a cultural and social level regarding the inclusion and respect of differences .
Finally, PdR 125, integrated with other policies and tools such as ISO 9001 , represents a complex system through which we are committed to promoting the well-being of the people who work in the consortium"
The path that led to obtaining the certification was divided into several phases – from self-assessment to training, from the adoption of a specific policy to the definition of specific procedures – and involved in a more or less direct way all the bodies and professional figures: from governance to those with coordination roles up to the operators of the services.
The certification work team (Guide Committee), accompanied by Simona Taraschi and Alessandra Deavi of the CGM consortium – is coordinated by Adriana Palaoro and composed of Francesca Rollandini and Silvia De Vogli, professionals who guarantee its integration with other processes such as those of ISO 9001 Quality management and communication.
“Obtaining the certification – Adriana Palaoro points out – is a very important step, but not the goal: we have made commitments to improve on which we have already started to work, such as, for example, the definition of guidelines for inclusive language and communication that respects differences (including gender differences)”.
"The Consorzio Consolida - concludes Massimiliano Oro of CSQA - is an important point of reference for the entire Trentino cooperation.
The audit conducted highlighted an inclusive environment , where the person is always at the centre of its actions.
It is not only an opportunity for growth and inclusion of women in the company, but also fair pay , protection of parenthood and work-life balance, governance, culture and strategy"
