NIS 2: Registration required by February 28th
NIS 2: Registration required by February 28th February 28, 2025 is the deadline for companies to comply with the NIS 2 (Network and Information Security) Directive .

The law requires registration on the National Cybersecurity Agency (ACN) platform .
After registration, companies will have nine to eighteen months to implement the measures required by the regulation.

The context

Cyber attacks are increasing at a worrying rate. In the first half of 2024 alone, Clusit recorded over 1,600 attacks worldwide, with Italy suffering 7.6% of global incidents.
According to Cybersecurity Ventures, the economic damage resulting from cybercrime will reach $10.5 trillion by 2025, with a compound annual growth rate of 15%.

NIS 2: who must comply?

The standard applies to medium and large-sized organizations in 18 sectors considered essential, including energy, transport, healthcare, digital and telecommunications.
